 Hi guys, I know I have posted on Billy Mclaughlin a few times. Now I just want to post this piece called Fingerdance. It is heard in the background on 2 of the newest Purina One commercials - one features a cat, the other a dog. Fingerdance is featured in both commercials. Billy Mclaughlin is the composer and performer of this piece. I told you before that he developed focal dystonia and had to go into retirement temporarily until he was able to re-learn his ax as a left handed player. It was a change that he fought with because he had to learn the guitar the "wrong" way. But I am so glad that he did this. I love his music and his stage presence. I had the opportunity of jamming with him when I lived in Ohio several years ago. He is coming to LA county Saturday and I am going to get to see him. You all know what I am hoping for. His documentary titled "Changing Keys" will be the main topic but he will also play his guitar at the end of the evening. Hubby got tickets and made hotel reservations so that we don't have to drive back home so late at night. Well, anyhoo, here's fingerdance.

But see, that's why i like it here. There is all kinds of stuff goin' on. I hate being in a bubble. I like venturing into other worlds and sharing my stuff as well. Actually, I almost missed out on this. My boyfriend at the time wanted to hear Billy at Kent State University. I really was not interested and didn't want to go. He talked me into going and I would wager that he was sorry that he did. I wanted to go to every Billy Mac concert after that.
It's frightening to think where my life would be had I not gone to that concert.

If you like that, you should hear him live.

Yeah, my husband does support my craft and I can count on him to do just that. I admit that I didn't think that I was going to get to go to the concert because it is an hour and a half drive. That would be kinda hard driving back at night. But, Matt did everything in his power to make this happen. He truly is the man of my dreams.

Billy is extremely inspiring and he is easily approachable. I mean, you can go right up to him and talk to him. I remember following one concert at Hiram College, my friends went with me to see Billy's show. He bought us all pizza afterward.

Phil, we had talked about this before. If you are still having problems, you need to find out why. Billy was in your area last month for several gigs and workshops. If that would have helped you, I hate that you missed him.
