I was into that original Battlestar series. Lorn Green was a cool star fleet admiral, but I did sometimes feel that I was watching Bonanza in space.

I loved 2001, and Star Wars, but the best Sci-Fi movie ever, in my opinion, was the 1957 classic, Forbidden Planet. I seen it with my dad at the Pocono drive in in Cinemascope, and Technicolor back in the 50's and I do believe it warped my mind. (That ID monster scared the bejesus outa' me! )

yea, some of the worlds secrets are in sci-fi, whs 13, fringe, sanctuary,marvel, dc, smallville, they need to make a movie where they invent warfare with music notes and volume, bunch of bands fight wars on stage and in the field, intruments turn from simple shapes to , oh , well , sounds like transformers stuff, or a guitar hero movie, at the end 2 guiarist or bands cut heads, heck let me go a start a short film and copyright quickly.

There's a new show from the creators of Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewife that's coming to the Space Channel*, this Sunday; it's called Defying Gravity.

It looks like it's going to be 75% about relationship and 25% about space stuff. I predict a BIG yawn coming my way

They categorize this show as a Sci-Fi show, but it remain to been seen!!!!! And, I can't wait to hear what long time Sci-Fi fans will have to say about this show It's sounds more like a "Soap-Fi", to me!
