anyone out there with a Behringer stack (BB115 / BB410) with any comments either pro or con on the Bugeras or the MDF cabinets. Im looking into buying this set and am curious if they'll hold up under moderate gigging.

but are te bugeras the aluminum cone?

actually that doesnt really matter. For behringer its hit or miss.
If you get a good one, it'll be one of the best sounding things youve owned, if oyu get a ad one however.... sad day:(

For touring purposes, if you get that 70% chance of a good one, it'll never let you down, they designed tanks after this things, i mean they're stronger then a sherman.

THe only problem I have seen is that they dont like to be pushed on the head room. Its its rated for 800, go no more than 450, or even 400. The aluminim cones need to be exercised before a tour though, be nice to them until they are broken in.

I owned the 210 combo, and the 410 both aluminum coned. I loved them I still use them for practices actually. Just dont be mean to them and they'll love you right back

same rule applies i think. just be nice to them and give them plenty of head room.

no, only local venue(s).
getting back into it and want to keep the budget low until things break loose economically.

ive heard better reviews on the paper cones, so far i havent read taht an of them have fallen out of port like some of the aluminum ones have.

I think your not making a bad choice, espically if its just local.
what kind of gear do you use for it, i can better diagnose issues if i know what gear.

fender 300 watt head or a Carvin RL600 to work with at this time.
the Carvin (fortunately enough) has worked well since I got it in 99.
despite the "overheating" problems some have encountered.

oh, thats perfect for that set up.
if the carvin is active you wont find that your clipping on the loud/aggressive side of playing (if your a metalhead like me), with that much head room.

just dont run too many effects through and it'll sound perfect.
