Capt

Have you ever seen the Ron White video where he gives his take on Jackson?

He says they caught him with life size kid dolls in his room, and exonerated him.

Ron White says if they found life size dolls in Ron Whites closet they would assume Ron was f###ing those dolls, and you know what they would be right!

I cant say that I cared much for Micheal Jacksons personal life, he really had a twisted view of things. But as an entertainer/musician he was a big as anyone has ever been.

O no man I wasn't implying that you were racist. That cop-out is a tongue on the tonsils, which induces vomiting. It's cool, not liking his music, if you truly don't for artistist reasons, (and I'm with you on the damn the world), but to not being able to separate pure musical ability from characteristic traits, is not being analytical on merit. Now From what I know of you, you are a straight forward person. And you say that MJ is a Ga Ga in your hamburger. But if such artist like Ray Charles. the Bee Gees, musical Industries, country music, rock and roll, BLUES, Donna Summers, Sharon Crow, American I dol:0, and the list goes on, were influenced by his music, surely even you by your dogmatic distain for MJ has been influenced by him.

You said it, one size dont fit all. MJs music sucked ass in my opinion.
And if it influenced me in any way it was to do something totally different.
I cannot for the life of me think of one single song he was involved in from the Jackson 5 on, that I liked.
I could make a list of so called super stars I feel the same way about.
I have heard more creative and better composed music right here on Bandmix by guys who work the nine to five just to make ends meet.

I was originally trained in classical piano as a young boy. 43 years ago. Wow! I'm getting old. I decided to go back to my roots (genre). I composed my rendition of a classical piece that I had made up, as if MJ was doingi it. You have heard it.
Last night his personal physican was on the tube. He collaborated with MJ . His piece sounded very eerily close to mine. (Influence-sometimes in comes in ways we know not)

The ways I have been subconsciously influenced by MJ are on different levels.
He made me feel that I could dance.
He gave me hope that he he could succeed and pull himself up by his own bootstraps, so could I. (Even you detractors have to admire this!Stayin off welfare, and being a deadbeat daddy:)
He made me realize my potential, even if I didn't realize how great his was.
MJ also was a fashion trend setter.
He was the trailblazer for blacks to be on MTV.
The list goes on a on...
Thiers an an old saying sans that even the flap of a butterfly's wing across the ocean by China influences us.

LOL, There is also a Zen proverb that states.
If you tie two birds together, though they have four wings, they cannot fly.
To each his own sir.
I was influenced to make my way in the world by my father.
To this day I am not so sure he would not kill me himself if I failed.
