Using a Yamaha keyboard bought from Walmart years ago, and Audacity(sp),
I made this in composition in about 2 days. At first I was going to concentrate on the bass guitar, (sounded stinky), then I tried classical-still bad. Only thing left was the keyboards. So I did what Fisherman Bob and Easykill, and the rest of you advised-and I went back to the hood to get my main man," Superfly".

check out my demo. Track #2. Thanks

You're tantalizingly close. So close, a real vocalist needed with a percussion of some kind. Eliminate the choppiness, add the real vocals, a real drummer, you're SOOO close. I can almost taste it...

This is where I use the other features on bandmix, such as the "Wants Ads." Give me a couple of weeks. I'll come up with something.

In the mean time I am going to post some other experimentations, in order for me not to lose, (forget) the knowledge I have.

Tomorrow I will

Add a Jamstudio "Drum" sound to my Demo. It will be a very light cymbal sound, resembling a Curtis Mayfield sound.

Better yet add a real drummer with his (or her) own sound. Better even yet add a real vocalist with his (or her) own sound.

Thanks I will Fisherman. His name is Carlos Washington- One of Harrisburg's finest drummer's. I don't see him often. I guess I have to conjure him up, and then he will show up at Giants, or at a some unlikely place.
In any case I'll get a handle on it. As for a real singer,
I get him/her also. Hayden I'll burn the candle at both ends:) (if I had one:)

Burning the candle at both ends? Sounds like a pain in the arse!

If you're starting to play your own instruments, Bravo, Writer! Even if you're not singing, and just reading poetry, you may come up with an entirely new genre! Go for it!

Yes ZYKZ thats really me. I was so lazy, rather than push myself, I found it easier, and more enjoyable to take the verbal abuse. A fault I have, and I'm trying to correct, is that I like to push buttons. But each and evry body on this site challenged me, so in return you pushed my buttuns.
Thank You

It's def more gratifying to be a real musician/ (or poet) (with your music) - than to use o.p.'s instrument tracks and being a poser, dont you think? I have my own faults, and plenty of 'em.. :\

It definately is, and I can see from your view point why you got so angry.
You saw a virus for lack of l better word infecting the musical system by trickery and shortcuts. For my part I had a toy, and I was displaying it on your site. All the while I knew I had Audacity, but I didn't want to deal with installatiion. Auda is nore complex than the Jamstudio recorder, but maybe it's too simple, because I couldn't fiquare it out.
By the way, how do you feel about part Audacity SFX, Jamstudios
COMBINED WITH REAL INSTRUMENTATION.

Ashamed to say it, but I have more fun in making the music, than the final product. Maybe it's because music is a never ending process. Each note is a fingerprint of originality. Ding! Ding! Ding!:)
