I used to tell the boys at the Kwoon "you'll get plenty rest when your dead"
Now I think it's time for my nap.

A few years ago I spent many sleepless nights wrestling with severe health problems. Now that I'm on a much better diet I really appreciate a good night's sleep. Naturopathic medicine and chiropractic adjustments = a good's night sleep. I try to get a full eight hours per night. Makes the waking hours more productive.
I need at least 10 hrs sleep.. my deepest REM occurs between 4am and 11 am.. I'm dreading going back to work.. i think it'll kill me.. ah well , 9 more years and I'll be 62 and the social-security will kick -in . (not).. lol...
..wish i could have have been a big rock star and laying back on the royalties or been ozzy and making humorous commercials.. money dont mean everything but it sure does help in the mean-time..

10 HOURS?? ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME??? I couldn't sleep 10 hours no matter how exhausted I am... Like I said, I usually get 5 maybe 5 1/2 hrs sleep every night.... 6 on weekends... I'm healthy as a lark and busy as a beaver... has no bad effect on me whatsoever...see?

I wish I were as busy as that. I remember a time that I was too, I'm hopefully moving up North a little soon. Perhaps that will mean better connections?
Best of luck with it all.

Had a great concert last night. Played for a little over an hour, played about 10 different styles of music. Each different style of music was received equally well . . . that was kinda cool . . .
Met a lot of old friends, made some new ones.
.
After the show, the organizer came up to me and gave me a hug.
I guess we'd gone over really, really well . . .
It was supposed to be a one time event, but he mentioned having us come back . . .
No pay, - but the proceeds pay for an education for young musicians . . .
So - what the heck . . .
. . . guess we'll be playing there again . . .
When I get time, I'll upload a picture or 2 . . .
.
Look, guys . . . if you get a chance . . . give a benefit performance sometime, eh?.
Show people that music can be about something besides glory and loud noise . . . .
.
Yeah, yeah . . . no pay. And it's a lot of work setting up and tearing down. My back still hurts today . . .
So - yep, I agree: Money is good.
And, yeah, we all have to pay our bills, and . . .
.
But - life isn't just about the money . . .

His wife and 2 kids were standing next to him at the time, and my girlfriend was standing next to me at the time, so I felt relatively secure.
I also got 5-6 hugs from women, and some emails from women afterward . . .
I put a picture up on my page.
