This band is so obscure that I forgot their name for the last few decades!
But I do recall that they were very cool.

so...
after googling about for awhile I finally remembered ....

TRANSLATER!

and thanks to the magic of YouTube...
here they are!

Got another great old Howlin Hit from the glorious obscure 60's , I haven't heard this one for over half a century so I was delighted to have found it on You Tube.

Warning!... it's kinda R- rated so if you have impressionable children nearby, get their asses away from the computer. :D

The 60's had it all! ('cept hip hop, of course)

To tell ya the truth, Capt., it;s amazing any of us impressionable lower middle class white kids in the 60's even got to hear the somewhat pornographic rockers The Fugs.

Saunders, Ginsburg and company also had a very cool album released a bit later called Tenderness Junction. It was remarkable because it was on Frank Sinatra's label "Reprise". I often wondered if 'OL Blue Eyes ever actually listened to any Fugs music. That album featured one of my favorite Fugs tunes, Wet Dream. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate a You- Tube of it.

"Trapeze" (dont know if anybody mentioned them yet) a little known UK band that toured only in Memphis and Texas areas.. Medusa was their killer song, but they had several albums out.

We still do "Black Cloud". Always wanted to do "You Are the Music, We're Just the Band". Killer stuff.

Hey RatSass,
I love "Black Cloud"! Absolutely one of my favorite songs of all times. I was-a-hummin' it today since u mentioned it in your post :D

dmcmctdzd: If I recall correctly Triumph was pretty big back in an era..

I think I'll get a band together and name it "ZAP" in honor of R. Crumb, and have his "artwork" all over the back-projections!! lol.. that'd be different..
