Soon as I saw the lefty guitar backwards strung to be a rightie.. I thought "facepalm"..

The guy is good, no doubt. Doesn't impact me the same way Hendrix did though.

My words and thoughts exactly.

Impact is subjective.

Quote -The guy is good - That's the important line..

Otherwise - - - >

I have a lefty body purple strat with a righty neck on it.

Do you think the sound from it is different than a righty body with a lefty neck>?

If you saw the purple, lefty body with a righty neck, would you "facepalm"?

I think I could give a guy at least a few minutes before I dismissed him completely.. (lol whaaat?)

I think I may have even seen a blue man or 2 or 3 with pvc pipes they played that even got the required erm 2 mins before I shut off the dvd. lol

Hmmm... this guy is very good at what he does.... but he doesn't do much... I would have needed many beers to enjoy this...

I feel there is nothing wrong with learning licks from other musicians but you should never copy a style and hit the road. Learn waht you can from others and then make your own style and see where it takes you :D I personly refuse to learn a whole song from another artist. I learn licks and transitions and practice them as warm ups. That all started way back when I first started and all people wanted to hear was " Stairway to heaven " I quickly UN-learned the song and vowed never to learn a full song again lol
