Ryan, stick around. I like you. I see your talent. I don't like your genre. Who care what I like? Or anybody else? Unwad thy panties and hang out some more. :D

amen this is a place to converse about it all.

It's a forum. No one is right or wrong, they just are what they are..individuals.

You know, I really don't understand it. Though there are few people who appreciate Ryan's particular style here, we've offered nothing but positivity toward him and his pursuits. Yet among the people who like their death metal stuff so much, there are so many who have this "I HATE SCREAMO LULZ" attitude. I'm really sorry if I offend here or whatever, but I just have to say it. Not everyone likes your music, that's a fact. But that doesn't mean you have to go around bashing other people's tastes as a result. Kind of hypocritical, wouldn't you say?

The "screamo" vocal style isn't trying to be anything else, and neither is metalcore as a genre itself. It's its own thing, and I happen to like it, so I do take offense when certain people get a haughty attitude about how it's a failed attempt at something it's not. I'll tell you what it's not. It's not what you're looking to listen to, so just plain don't listen to it and leave it at that. Thanks.

Now, that aside, it would be nice if you stayed, Ryan. While I don't really listen to that kind of music all that much, I can definitely appreciate what you're doing, and I think a lot of the other members here would say just the same. If not, I don't intend to force you. If that's the case, take it easy, and we'll miss you, man.
