Cjay here. I am new to this site. Thanks for that article on death metal. I started doing some recording projects with a metal band though I dont have a lot of experience in this particular genre so I have been listening to all kinds of metal including death metal to get an idea of whats out there. It is interesting to know the psychology behind some of the lyrics. To be honest I had a strong desire to laugh at some of the growling stuff. I think I am definitely more of a symphonic metal or classic metal fan. It would be cool to go into a haunted house with that playing in the background though..lol.
