General Music Chat

First the good:
A small independent film maker is shooting a music video for one o my song's (Passing On). I know I said I hate em but I have "one" that can be interpreted well in video. Also someone volunteered (actually 2 people) to record my music for me and it's all in the works as we speak.

The Bad News:
I have to cancel my trip to DC to lobby congress in behalf of The Clean Water Protection Act. That sucks! I really wanted to get in there w/em but my Room mate has managed a grand total of 4 days work in 3 weeks and already owes rent from last month. Add to that the $120 - 150 I got ripped off for last month and the clothes that I "had" to buy.... well I just don't have the extra $$ to cover the bills and the trip.

but I'm getting some music made and some you tube material so I can't really bitch!

Sounds to me like the good WAY outweighs the bad. Good for you.

I don't know the content of the song, but can your sentiment about the Clean Water Act be noted in the video somehow? Kill a bird and a half anyway...in a manner of speaking?

No Cat I won't compromise my finished work. If it hits me I'll write on the subject but I only get what comes to me mostly. I don't really like to try to write intentionally on a particular subject...

Hell I haven't had anything else work out for me lately so I'll be happy to just have this happen as it is!
