Time by Pink Floyd- goes to show you don't have to play a million notes a second to have a great guitar solo, even tho I like them too.
Green Grass And Hightides by The Outlaws- one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Huey Thomason is the coolest guitar player I have ever scene.
Every solo from Van Halen.
Every solo from Satch especially Satch Boogie.
Every solo from Steve Vai.
Every Solo From Gary Moore.

ewwww.. FRAMPTON?

Ok, really quick story.

We went to see Trent Resnor's old band SLAM BAM BOO or BOOM? in Ohio and it was an open mic night..

We missed them. BUT, they had this awesome band that was like HIllbilly Jim and his band. So they played a little and we were getting bored.

All of a sudden, Frampton comes in from outside and he wants to sit in with Hillbilly jim or wtfever his name was.

HBJ was like, ok..

So they played a little and HBJ was playing HARD. He covered a couple of hendrix tunes and Frampton got mad and they start to have this guitar war like something out of the movie CROSSROADS.

Long story short, HBJ blew him the f**k out. Frampton was sooo pissed he threw his guitar into it's case and left in a huff.

I have to look, I still have a recording of that.

Frampton having a bad night = cool
The look on Framptons' face when he left in a huff = priceless.

Frampton is an awesome guitarist.

I always loved the 3 pickup Paul on the cover of his live album. I imagine he did a lot for selling the talk box to guitarist. Ive never had one, but always wanted one.

Petrucci's (Dream Theater) solo on "Innocence Faded". I've never heard anything quite like it; I love how relentless the solo is; winding it's way. Just a great feel. Like controlled chaos. I also love his outro solo on "Octavarium". Brilliant work.

Doug Ott's (Enchant) solos on "The Thirst" and "Follow The Sun". Love his work. Writes some of my favorite solos.

George Lynch's "Mr. Scary", which is like one big solo for him. Love his lead work.

Vitto Bratta's solos on "Wait" and "Little Fighter".

Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti's solos on "Blackbird"
