I recently purchased some used gear ( an add in paper) when I got the stuff home inside one of the boxes that all the cables for the P.A gear was this little greyish/black box ....it reads on it ...

not to sound dumb, I am a drummer and got a heck of a deal on this equipt. no manuel for this thing ( downloaed of net/burned to CD)...
what is this thing and what would You use it for?

looking at possibly selling it if I do not need it

This is a 1992 drum machine, you really need a manual for it, if i remember correctly it is about 48 pages in all.
the r70 does have 2 demo songs that will give you an idea of potential, just press song play whilst holding down the shift button, use the up down buttons to select track. Tis a very complicated machine but has potential if you are into spending a week locked away with it lol, hope info is of some help.

I have the manuel... is on Disc,potential for what? spend a week locked away with it ...NOT ME...how much is thing worth?
