You guys are missing a lot of the good HARD rock and progressive acts. How 'bout Rush, Max Webster, Triumph, James Labrie from Dream Theater is from Penetang, April Wine if you like, I Mother Earth.....I could go on.

The Hip. Decent band, lose the singer.

The singer made the band, imho. His unique approach and personality rings through everything they did. Just because he isn't the "best," in tone or delivery doesn't mean that he's worthless. He gave the Hip their style. I can't say that he was great, by any stretch of the imagination, or that I'd use him for my own work. He sure worked for theirs, though.

Just try being from Kingston, where those guys are from...the local radio station here, K-Rock, plays them at least a good three times a day. We get it, they're from Kingston. Good band and all, but I got a little tired of them thanks to the radio.
