His family needs the help and so will the other guy that died.

Sad to say, but when someone errs to the point that someone else dies, a lawsuit is always in the mix.

Seen it before, it may even hurt the co. or local district, but it will save someone else from becoming a future victim, hopefully.

As much as I hate to even speak the word, "lawsuit," there are cases, like this, where it is not only called for, but necessary to assure the welfare of the deceased person's family, at the very least.

I don't know the nature of the blunder that resulted in his death, but a stupid error that results in serious injury or death needs to be paid for.

I kinda feel sorry for the person that committed the error, too. Imagine how he/she must feel. I'd pray for them, as well, so that they can live with their mistake & its consequences, learn from them & hopefully move on without too much of a heavy burden.

We all make stupid mistakes, & at times like these they're particularly difficult to deal with.

Everyone involved needs our compassion & prayers, imho, & our hopes for a stable future.

Thanks John. I am feeling some better about it all today.

Phil, you speak the truth my man. Many people involved need compassion and support.

Rips my butt though, I have been privy to some of the inside info.
I get in my jeep this morning and they are saying on the news they "dont know what happened" Bullshit!
The City cover up has started already.

Thank you all for your support for myself and for Kyle's people.
His funeral is tomorrow. It will be huge! I wont go. I hate shows for sake of show. The vewing was packed so I did a drive by and came home this evening. I tend to let the dead deal with the dead. I mean to me they are gone already. Its too freakin late to say whats not been.
I may break this trend and make a few grave visits of some friends I have lost of late. I used to feel imortal.

I'm sorry for the families involved. There are few professions as honorable as a firefighter.

Agreed. Though to die in a practice accedent seems such a waste of a damn good man. And to cover up the mistakes made, is a sin and crime against all brave men. I will always remember him as the smiling friend.
