I noticed that most of the band name suggestions offered didn't utilize the prefix "The"
Call me old fashioned, but I usually like "THE" bands the best. like.....

On THE second thought. They want a name for an alternative band, a popular genre. Most kids if they are not in to punk, or death metal or goth are in to alternative. Good for them, but since there are so many alternative bands and among those so few good ones they should not use THE but A or AN coz those bands seem to come like beer in a six pack.

No we are not making fun of alternative bands, we are making fun of alternative bands that can't come up with their own name. If a band can't come up with a name for themselves, what else can't they come up with?
