Thought you guys might enjoy this.

When I went to Baltimore recently, JW123 was kind enough to offer me a place to stay the night on the way up and back, also met the Kidd. On the way back I had a couple of guitars loaded in such a location as to be easy to remove, so I took them inside and showed them off a little. The Cort CL 1500 and my trusty old Squier Strat. Got a few pictures while JW played, and thought I might post the only one that came out good enough for public consumption. Unfortunately I didn't think to grab the camera and get a couple of shots of the Kidd, maybe next time I'll have a little more presence of mind...

This is my most recent guitar purchase, a Cort CL 1500 hollow body that plays and sounds great, with JW in his music room, a couple of Mesa amps and one of his Les Pauls in the background.

Thanks for everything JW, I enjoyed it. By the way the Jeep is doing great, starts every time and no more radiator hose problems.

Bill, That Cort is a great playing guitar. I dont guess Ive ever played one before.

As far as your Jeep, I was talking to a mechanic friend and he thinks that we just flooded it, and thats why it wouldnt crank. He said also in most vehicles like that if you hold the throttle wideopen it will cut off the fuel pump and help clear it out a lot quicker. It was cool hanging out for a few hours, I just wish I had had a gig for us to go to together.

Take care my friend, and stay in touch.

I was convinced it was flooded soon as you said you smelled gas. That's the second time, I just couldn't figure out why it didn't work when I did floor it right after that, like your friend recommended. Been there, done that...and it worked the first time. It never even tried to hit that day, and usually that will work. I did enjoy the chance to hang out for a while though.

Yeah the Cort plays really good, I liked it when I bought it with rusty strings, once I swapped to a better bridge and did a good setup I love it now...

I'll be getting in touch soon, might be setting up an audition with a band near you, maybe you'll have a gig lined up. I'll go into more detail later, will probably be calling you in the next day or two after I talk to them. What the hey, audition or not I'll call anyway just to say hi, thought about doing it this weekend, but got sidetracked...
