Hey all

I'm trying to put a band together and find it very hard to find cats into the same type of music as me. I'm looking to start a Brit Rock / Americana type band in the vein of Beatles, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello, Cold Play.
Thought there would be some interest in this kind of music but apparently not. I am finding that most musicians are into the more "Bluesy" thing or the "Metal", "Funk", "Hard Rock" type stuff, which is all cool, it's just not what I'm looking for. One thing they all say is that my songs are really good, my singing is really good, and my drummer is great. They are just not into the music in general.

I am a 40 YO Lead Singer / Rhythm Guitarist / Songwriter. I am with a great drummer who is also in his 40's. Looking for a bass player & piano player to start. As always Vocals are a huge plus. We will do 60% Originals & 40% Covers.

Anyone know of someone who may be interested?

Would really like to hear from you.

Dang!, he'd be about 57 now. Played with him in 2 different bands 3-4 nites a week 89-93. What about ole "one man band" Ernie? (dont know last name) I miss giggin in Chicagoland. There was alotta work back then.
