Hey Gang,

Thought I would give you guys an idea what I sound like live. I made a living doing this in Chicago for a while.I saved at a lower bit rate to get it on here so it may be alittle "compressed" sounding..I put a much longer high bit rate copy on mypace where theres no limit. The novelty wore off yrs ago and Id rather play drums or bass in a band nowdays BUT, this is still fun to do occasionally. Please check it out , tell me what ya think.

Thanks ,
John

Thanks man, Yeah , If you were playin out 87-94 this NEW way of performing was a big deal.Kareokee was just coming into being.I had to compete with those people.THEY made the same 150-200$ a nite I did.I had an agent (Cheri) also to help promote this thing..The FIRST thing I said when I felt like I had the audiences attn was what you are about to hear is ME, and ME only. They couldnt understand back then cause no one had every seen a " Workstation" They would be lookin for the tape deck. SOOO, I had a great time on break , showin people how this works. NOW, I can either burn these trx to CD or port them to Mp3 player..BUT, I am SOOO spoil, I really bout have to have the keyboard THERE with me.Shes been a great friend for 18 yrs..

I screwed up the title when I was posting, BOTH tunes posted are the same arr. One is compressed the other isnt.Thats what I was wanting to know, WHICH one was more of a live sound..Just tryin to get some opinions on making live mixes more "live " sounding by compressing then limiting slightly...I might fire the ole workstation up FT here if band bis doesnt pick up and Ill need to make a new demo..OH , thats right , Ive got a demo..Its a casstte mix down from the 4 trkfrom 91... ...Prolly wouldnt go over too good if I handed the club owner a casstte..

Thanks everyone for helpin me out.
