 I do private lessons in a neighborhood with a security check point. When the gaurd came to my car he saw my OSU sweatshert and said...Oh no, we are arch enemies. I said why? Are you from. Before I could finish he said "Michigan". At that moment I said "Boo Michigan!" He of course said "Boo, Ohio ( people from Michagan have no kinda sense of humor unless Ohio says it first ).

I finished the evening by meeting my final student's dad who spoke broken English. The family, being from Taiwan could not have possibly have known anything about my hood, right? Well, when he saw my OSU sweat shirt, the dad in broken english said "Go Bucks!!!". I then gave him a high five and told him about the security guard. The dad and mom laughed when I told them about the security guard being from Michigan.. What can I say?

Back in the '70's I lived in Newark, just south of Columbus. Some very cool ppl there, & the music was great at the time. Only stayed there a yr & 1/2, but I have some very fond memories of it.

:o Omigash, my sister and her family lived there for about 10 years, I'm guessin'. Isn't it north of Columbus? I would love to go back there for a visit. They lived at 305 Eddy Street. That was a sweet little town.

Yeah it's more north of Columbus, I think the Cherry Valley Lodge is located there. Very awesome place to stay!
