Wow.

Love the way "Relapse" starts up. Great bass. Good upbeat tune, there, gents, in spite of the "whoops upside the head" lines & such. I like this rock a lot. Guitar could be a little tighter, but that's being super-picky.

"Enigma" sounds almost too much like the Chilli Peps to be your own. I'm not all that familiar with their stuff that I'd know all their tunes. Is this one of your own songs or theirs? Still, all in all, I think it's another good one, but I like "Relapse" better.

"We the Only" is another that's starting off very Pepperish, vocally. Nice productions, here. Love the transition at 2:06, & the one at 4:02. This might be a tad long for some, but I like it.

The last one, "Prescription," is a bit too rappish for me, but I can appreciate it for what it is. Again, I'm wondering if perhaps you won't be too closely associated with the style of the Peps, here, as well.

You have a very tight band, if you can perform this stuff live like this. My only concern is your tendency to sound too much like your influence. For a band that's been together for a single year, you've done very very well, though. (I realize that I may be looking like an idjit if these are cover tunes - I always assume a song is original if I haven't heard it before. If they are covers, you are great at them. If they aren't, I'd try to expand my own style a bit more, if I were you.)

Overall -Good production, good drummer. Good musicianship. A classic case of lot's of talent, and poor taste.

Relapse -

Nothing fresh.

Decent vocal harmonies at points. Awkward phrasing and pronunciation at points. Cheesy lyrics, bass sound and guitar sounds.

Enigma

Bass and guitar are really sweet on the verses. Vox are good on the verse. The chorus is an ubercheese-fest. Bridge is annoying. Leads are all the gaudy leftovers from the 80's.

We are the only - piano and synth sound beginning is nancy. Musically the most credible of the group. Kind of Judas priest-ish (vocally)at points.

I can see the faith no more reference and the RHCP reference. Those are some WAY outdated comparisons.

Prescription - eek the worst yet. It's like I got stuck in limbo with limp bizkit. Except the backing vocals are again leftover 80's glam. *sweet lead at 1:45*

A frame of reference - Nirvana (fresh and hip) - Puddle of mudd (redneck cheese version of nirvana)

Pearl jam ((first album) fresh, raw, real) - Creed (gaudy cheese version of pearl jam)

In summary all influencs are 15 - 25 years out and almost all are cheesy. Sorry to be harsh. I'm sure you pack a bar and do well locally.
