playing the most convincing tunes
As they serenade to the parade
Of paid-off parts"

Repress the cadence,
Your profile states that you cant get anything up on your BandMix player.
I just listened to......
"The Ride of Carpus Varro"
Good tune!
(maybe time to update your profile info)

Hope ya get a gig up and kickin'!

Back on topic,

Another great Dylan verse...

" He puts his cigar
out in your face just for kicks
his bedroom window it is made out of bricks
The National Guard stands around his door
I ain't gonna work for Maggie's brother no more"

Oh, good, it works now! It wouldn't work for me when I initially uploaded it, hence that little anecdote. Well, glad it's pretty enjoyable, despite the silly mixing decisions my friend made. Thanks for the feedback and the heads-up!

"See that girl with the pretty red dress on? I WANNA POLKA!" - Red Peters

"How's your whole.....family?" - Red Peters

"I don't just love you down there" - Red Peters

"You promised the moon, but I prefered Uranus" - Red Peters

"You had me in a trance I got a rocket in my pants over you" - Red Peters

"If you think about me long & hard you'll remember why you love me" - Red Peters

"Let's do it doggy style so we can both watch TV" - Red Peters

Ah, the man is a lyrical genius! I'm surprized no one's ever mentioned him in here. I love his stuff, & his music is extremely well produced. It's sorta like '60's standard pop & country gone Zappa at his pervertiest. Too funny. I wonder why none of the bands I've been in have ever wanted to do his songs.

Well it's too bad that our friends, can't be with us today
Well it's too bad
The machine, that we built,
would never save us', that's what they say
(That's why they ain't coming with us today)
And they also said it's impossible for a man to live and breathe under
water, forever,
was their main complaint
And they also threw this in my face, they said:
Anyway, you know good and well it would be beyond the will of God,
and the grace of the King (grace of the King)
(Yeah, yeah)

"how's you're life been going on
I've got a wife now, years we've been going strong
there's just something that I need to say
sometimes when we make love I can still see your face" (Ambrosia)

(I would love to write something like that and not have my wife kill me)

One of mine own -

"Her eyes aren't really blue.
They're more like prisms breaking light
Into a myriad of hues.
I used to dream in black & white
But now I dream in colors I can't even describe,
'Cause lately when I'm sleeping I go swimming
In her crystal eyes."

Yeah, I actually managed to use the word "myriad" in a song. I have no idea why, but that's the way it got written.

Sorry, emo-haters.
