I wrote and recorded this back in the mid 90’s using midi. I played all the parts on a synth except the drumming. The music was recorded to a cassette tape then I made them MP3’s from the cassette so the sound has been degraded a lot.

This isn't a great example of my playing ... I play a B3 in bands and play more a long the lines of Blues or R&B with a flavor of Funk chops and Jazz cording

Hey Prevost82, Man I think the musicianship is top notch, and a good B3 connected to a leslie man that is the best sound, I have always called that combo the Stratavarious of rock and roll. I guess it's because I am old school I think they have done a fair job sythisizing the B3 ala Nord but there is just no substitute for a Hammond, Grand Piano, Fender Rhoades,or a Mini Moog synth. They are all just to heavy except for the Mini Moog. I'll never forget the first time I saw a moog live in a concert setting through a big P. A. in 1996 I played in a band called Rare Seed and we opened for Head East when we were done we all stuck around of coarse to see the headliner and when they played "Never Been Any Reason" man that sound was so big and the sound man was cranking it up. Incidentally they were all really nice guys they came over and told us how much they enjoyed our band.

In the early 70's I played in prog rock bands and toured with 6 keyboards, B3, Rhodes, Clav, Meletron, Mini Moog and a Arp 2500 modular synth. I wish I hadn't got rid of the 2 synth's ... they were monsters for big sound.

But I don't miss touring with that many boards and the choreography I had to practice to play 6 boards at the same time in a live show ... that took as must practice or more than learning the song.
