. . . some long-time and very close Frineds of mine are up for the new Country Group of the Year. They have lived in the Nashville area for about nine years now. They were known as "The Fletcher Brothers for over 25 years, . . . but now are called simply "Fletcher". They have always been a very determined set of Brothers (James and Jon are twins, Mitchell is the younger) and now have teamed up with Blue Miller (of the Gibson Miller Band). Their new CD is AWesome, I like to call their style "Cornbread Rock`n'Roll". Mitclell and I worked together several years and is a really great guy, great personality. He is the singer/bassist, James is an astounding guitarist and Jon is the backbeat . . . however it has to be ! They opened some shows for David Alan Coe, back in the `80s, as well as David Lee Murphy back in the mid `90s. Fletcher has honed their sound in the Nashville area and are ready for the Big Time !
