Yup.... I forgot to mention that. I'm doing my debut gig with the other band on November 22nd....

I'm gonna try my damndest! Rehearsals are with one on Friday nites...the other on Sat. nites and just hoping the gigs don't conflict cause there's gonna be trouble when I hafta tell one band I can't do it cause the other one is already booked I'll cross that bridge when I get to it....

My poor wife Never gets to see her hubby anymore... I go to work at 3Am and she goes in at 10AM so by the time she gets home, I'm practically in bed... and now the weekends are shot... Sunday's are our only days with the wife and kids together... at least I get to see my kids everyday during the weekdays though...

Crip, Good Luck with the double gig. I had to get out of the other couple of groups I was playing with. One because they said I have to make a choice, the other well i really dont know why.

I know your as old as me but avoid all the old pitfalls for staying awake and such. If you know what I mean.

Hey just have fun and let your heart guide you, I think once you get the Panik Attac providing enough money you will let the other go by the wayside. It sounds like your almost there.

Memphis has a scene similiar to what you seem to play in. Its super competitive mucially and there is no money. One of our old stomping ground clubs calls us about every 2 weeks wanting to book us. I just tell them the price and they say we will call you back. Then they call one of the other members and he refers them back to me, its an endless cycle. I figure I gave thsi place enough of my ass for free through the years its time for them to pay us back and sit out. The biggest thing we did to get out of that cycle was regulate our volume. Our band can play anywhere these days and sound as good as we ever did. I got a request this weekend to play for a 16 yr olds birthday. I told the guys father the price and what we play. He said my son has heard all about you guys and loves what you do. Go figure. My problem is that it will take a 16 yr old crowd 5 yrs to be old enought to come see us in the places we play, so unless we get big money for the birthday party whats the point of doing this sort of gig. I mean a bunch of 40 yr olds playing for 16 yr olds. I referred him to some younger bands that I know.
