Don't think I've seen or played that one, but did play a Yamaha SG-2000 many times that belonged to a good friend in the mid 80's. Great guitar, played better than any Les Paul I've ever picked up and sounded really good too. But it was 2 1/2 lbs heavier than a LP, hell on the shoulder.

To see one Click Here

I'd really like to find one sometime, I'd definitely add it o my current collection, the SG-2000 is one f the best guitars I've played yet.

I've played a couple of Yamaha strat models, not bad but not impressive either. Some of their acoustics were pretty decent, but same as any other acoustic you have to be picky.

. . . a very nice guitar . . . they also played like a Country Gentleman as well. I almost bought one in the late 1970s.
