I had posted a solution this awhile back, but not sure if I remember the cure. I think it was just pressing "update" after you have changed your profile pic, so it updates it for the forums. I think that was it.

account options / set up forum information / update


See if that fixes it.

Thanks for the info BUTTT, I did that.. ..I even tried several times to up load new picks ..MAN, Im having all kinds of MYSPACE troubles too.MY DRUMS are the only thing NOT giving me trouble right now. Guess Ill just have to live with it like the MYSPACE deal...

they upgraded the players and I've been locked out every since (near a week now) and they're telling me I have to take a pic holding a dumbass sign and post it on another site yadda yadda. as if that would prove anything. anyone could get your password and do that w/a pic of their granny! my info is stored in firefox so I haven't changed a thing. not to mention my player has 500 less plays on it than it did. that site has gone to the dogs in the last 6 months, and now AT&T has bought it so I don't see it getting better for a while.
after 10 e-mails and replies (the same one over n over) I'm still locked out.

Hey Brother I hear ya...I forgot you were on there man, (still gettin used to people I know being on there ...Im a newbie..LOL), Ill send ya a freind req. if thats cool...I tried to do a new layout on my b,uegrass page this morning and half my page came up missing after the code was put in I couldnt even EDIT the page??? I got lucky and just started clickin outta anger and must have clicked the right "hidden " thing... ..Yeah , My player works BUT, I cant adjust the order of the tunes anymore..AND , Im gettin the same runaround you are in that they SAY their working on it...I posted 2 new blogs so at least that works...Yeah , lemme get off here and Ill check your page out..

I went to your page and your player was playin fine BUT , when I clicked on "add me" it just sent my HD a grindin and wouldnt do anything..Try it 3 times?..Its 6 pm , maybe the servers busy or something..Ill try later..

Hayden, I went to your myspace also. I think it might have something to do with your layout. When I tried to click add, it took me to the IM page. The back stuff is not aligned properly. I don't think I am explaining this well. ummm Try uninstalling all the stuff that you have in your layout section. Start from scratch. Before you wipe out all the Layout stuff (highlight just the code), do a control C to copy it...go to the place where you can reset it all. It will only reset the profile page look. It doesn't do anything to the text etc. Then re-install the code with a control v. I can look it up for you if you can't find it. I am sure you know what to do, sorry I get carried away when I try to help. It's just that I had to do that when I got a Layout from a different source than the ones that MySpace provides. I don't know if that will help your present situation, but might be worth a shot.

John, are you a paying member? Try doing a "contact" with BMix. Send them a message that you have a problem with your avatar and pictures. If not a member, I will be more than glad to contact them with your problem.

So you went specifically to:
Account options -- then -- My Features -- then -- Setup Forum Information -- then clicked the 'Update' button?

Check the file extension on the picture you want, make sure its saved as a JPEG file, then hit er again.
Also, remember " file cannot exceed the size of 2048 Kilobytes", blah blah blah... the stuff it says right by the upload button.

Well I dunno, were you trying to change it to something different?
Or was it the same old picture that just stopped showing up?
If its a different one... could be that its too big, could be that its not a jpeg, could be that its not pointing to where the pic should be anymore (so youd need to re-upload it), could be that it just needs to be hit again -- redo do the steps that are suppose to make it work.

Account options -- then -- My Features -- then -- Setup Forum Information -- then click the 'Update' button.

Did you go into "manage pictures" after uploading, to set this new pic as your profile pic, and then go through the series I suggested?

Can you see the pic in "manage pictures"?


And finally, like Zip said, what pic format and size?

Can you upload the new pic to photobucket or similar site, and then post the pic in the forums, and we can dissect it. LOL

I'm pretty sure it was that "update" button that did the trick for us, but you have to set that new pic as your "main" profile pic first.
