RobinL. wrote:Couldn't find it under Clifford Jam. I actually went thru like 10 pages searching. Oh well, I will take your word for it that it is there somewhere.

I think I need to be a little more tolerant of people.

Gonna go search thru some postings now.

Robin,

I'm gonna give this out juz cuz your so darn cute, and I got a soft spot for da Steelers - with a LA QB taking them to the superbowl 4 times. But I'm puttin you in charge of monitoring any naysayers to clifford's kb talents and abilities.

http://www.myspace.com/cliffordjam

This is the sound recordings, I couldn't find the youtube vid either. after more than 30 minutes of searching Youtube. Maybe it was pulled at CBIII's or his parents request. Clifford is at the bottom of the stairs. See - He is real.

Guys, he knows he's novice, that isn't his goal in a band to impress or wow you with his kb playing. He only wants to make a few male friends with similar interests to his and mainly have someone to hang out with-kinda sad huh. But who hasn't been there? "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" [J.C., circa 33 AD]. So, he doesn't need to be reminded with jeers of u s**k . IF this abhorrent cruel behavior becomes apparent to me, I will go listen to your demos and recriprocate your credentials as a skilled or unskilled musician.

OMG !, the first time I pulled the site up I only had 1/2 a page and the video wasn't there on myspace but it's there now ! n- joy , but please B Kind.

Senior Jalapeno thanks for your enlightening description of Cliff. Neither I nor anyone else here on Bandmix was aware of the multitude varied problems. I have an autistic son myself, it is an extremely debilitating condition. I NEVER question anybody's musical ability or competence. I'm sure you"re a fine drummer, very well qualified. And I also assure you I"m very qualfied as well. I"ve been offered numerous regional and one potential touring position as a vocalist only, as a bassist only, and as both but turned them down since I have to take care of my now 21 year old 240 pounds of hardened muscle autistic intimidating gorilla-like son who scares most uninitiated people. If you go back and read Cliff's posts I think you would understand our varied responses to him. I take people at face value and all we know of Cliff is what he"s posted. I still say he needs to vary his search. Bandmix is only going to help him so much. I hope he finds what he's looking for.

FBob - I hope he finds and pray on occasion he finds what he's looking for, but he has been looking for over 5 years now, started mostly on local sites, but I see now he's branching out nationally. God, help the boy.

I hope your son is OK and I'm sure your a good player too. I just didn't appreciate the me and CBIII build a band together crack. hell, i don't meet his qualifications !! - lol !!! And he refused to even accept me as a myspace friend (he only had 4 and I thought he could use another)because to him I am old and have a creepy avatar -Animal.

Sometimes, unfortunately Cliff ask for it back, especially when he gets real irate and starts name calling. because posters do not know his situation clearly, of course they recriprocate inkind. It took awhile for me to learn to. One of the neatest and funiest things you will hear from Cliff is when he mixes real life with TV scripted life events. He watches alot of children's programs i've learned on Nick At Night & Disney Ch. and will quote them on occasion as scenarios to reality - it is hilarious !
It is fascinating how many people do try and help him with sound advice, that makes me still feel good for the world as a whole and mankind as not all ass-holes.

Read my musician wanted post for a lark, it's to try and express to Cliff if he returns how ludicrous, exacting, demanding band mbrs needed ads can be. Bet he returns, bet he don't get it.

Ya know...I've been doing some soul searching over this, & Bob's quite right - all we knew of Cliff was what he presented himself to be.

I don't feel quite so guilty now as I did there for a few uncomfortable hours.

Still, it's making me wish I'd stopped & thought a bit more before I got so wrapped up in "helping" the guy as I was slamming him into shape. This is a 1st for me o/l, or anywhere. Humbling, it is.

Hope he's alright, & not taking all of it as personally as it was intended at the time.

If that was pertaining to me.... I just took all my crap down from here because it is not with the new members of the band I'm in now and it was the only 2 originals I've ever recorded...28 years ago!!..after hearing negative critique on my home made reel to reel recording that was made when I was just a wee tot I realized that it just doesn't do me justice!.... We are now in the process of re-doing my whole basement and are in the process of acquiring new equipment.... but feel free to click on my myspace or www.myspace.com/panikatackband to get a better bead on me... go into the videos section to see some of our dry rehearsals

I seem to be having a problem keeping my pants zipped.

Does that quailify as a handicap and do I get special treatment for it?

Well do I?

Get a safety pin, JW, or a straught pin, if you are the risk-taker type of guy I suspect you are. That always worked for me, unless there was a lady involved. Then it just seemed like nothing would work.

If that was pertaining to me.....

It was pertaining to no mbr. in particular, only any future cruel ones (if CBIII returns) who would go listen to the vid/recordings of CBIIIs kb playing, criticize him , make fun of him here &/or hurt his feelings and not take strongly into consideration with autisim it's a wonder he can play at all.

If Clifford the big red dog had been reasonable, he wouldn't been received like this.

I don't feel any different about it. There are extenuating factors here, period.

I don't care if it was G.W. Bush himself. If he acts like a dog, he gets treated like a dog.

I am sure even he knows how to be nice and if not, he needs to re-examine his methods.

I don't know why I'm responding, but -

The difference Scott is you understand your methods and in general everybody elses methods, attitudes, platitudes & behaviors of social interaction, Cliff dosen't. He thinks he is the one being nice in the forum communicade, and your not - because you want or can't give him exactly what he wants for over over 5 years now.

I read back some back posts - He is even trying to tell what street and neighborhood he lives in, so you or someone here can find places close by his house so he can meet young people his age and with the same interests. let's face facts - That is not normal social interaction of two people who live 200-500 miles away from each other and have never met before. He has posted similar requests on different sites. He is not wired the same, He can't grasp the concept that all the people in the world that he can reach out to are not under some sort of obligation to hear him out and help him accomplish his goals - you can, that's the major difference.

This is deff. an education for me now studying Cliff's interaction on this site and comparing it to the local site I know he's frequented for over 4 years. Yes, he drives most of them bannanas too. But, because our site is local, and so are Cliff's references; I guess our commuinciation is a slight bit clearer. Still one model follows pretty closely the other-interesting.

OK, I understand you now.

Gee, makes you wish Bandmix had a verification process so that we knew anyone we'd be talking to was at least at a certain level of coherent behavior.

Still rips a little though and he actually had the balls to request that Crip got banned.

That's pretty way out to be sure..

It's just the point that it was a bit on the weak, pathetic side.

And no one ever said you didn't, Crip.
