Ok, I just had a really difficult time with these morons.
I was going to buy a Yamaha EMX-3500 from them. I was told I had to order one to see what the shipping/tariffs would be.
I did so. Was I ever sorry that I did.
I waited 3.5 weeks just to get an email that said, " shipping and tariffs will be high being that the item weighs 200lbs and comes from Canada."
1) That item only weighs 75lbs with anvil case. (I just weighed an identical EMX-3500, 75 lbs with anvil case)
2) I ended up calling them twice and their staff is, ermmm not what you would call "english-speaking" in Florida for god's sake.
3) The owner got very lippy, until I offered to call him and talk about it.
He called me a "22 year old child" and told me I was harassing him.
I then told him that I thought he was a "fly by night" company with no concept of what it is he was selling considering it only weighs 75lbs, not 200.
He then told me that I wouldn't be able to purchase anything via that company and I laughed. I asked him, "What made you think I was going to buy something from you after this fiasco."
Beware of these creepies. Marcel, the owner, is a "make the extra money on the inflated shipping" type. And all the reps are so hungry for the commission, you can't deal with just one rep. They all email spam you to try and get a cut on the sale.
Saddest sh*t I ever saw..makes Dave Phillips Music Stores look almost legit.
