It finally happened-

We auditioned a 22 year old singer 2 nights ago.

In all my time playing, I've never EVER seen anyone "bring it" like this guy did. He sang direct into the PA, no FX, no cheat boxes, just straight in. And he nailed it. He didn't just nail it though, he sang so perfectly, and agressively, and was jumping around, TOTAL frontman style, words fail me to accurately describe it... After the first song, we're all standing there like :shock:

then :D

then :twisted:

He accepted the invitation to join us today!! Things are looking up!

Actually I don;t think the kid knows who rush is lol...

He's into creed, godsmack, system of a down, etc... we learned some of his preferred stuff for the audition, and it was a creed song that we did first, he blew the doors off it.

Thanks for all the kudos guys, I'm stoked, and even better news is that I just came back from meeting a singer/songwriter who is probably the most promising talent in this entire region and we're going to start collaborating and see where it goes (she's looking to get a backup band behind her and grow)

Those are the only 2 good creed songs. Stapp sucks bad but those songs rock out hard.
