ok first thing to do is check to make suree app publishing is even registered ....then since you cant find them I am sure you can find plenty of information on J.Cash look and see if they are mentioned anywhere with his name attached a quick google should work if not ask for specfics on what they did for him and research that....as for the 150....alot of times artists have to pay but it usuall come out of any sales they are made....and the label / publisher fronts the money for any project....thats why they get such a big cut in the end because they take the risk with the money...be very weary of anyone telling you to pay for something up from no mattter how minimal the cost.....further more what do they want to do ...publish the lyrics...produce a cd....I mean what are they really offereing t odo for you?I once heard about a guy who paid some company 500$ to get his music published.....so they wrote his lyrics out on paper and took out a 1 page add in a local paper for like 150 bucks....and ther you have it...his music was published to the masses....major rip off but hey...they did what they said they would do...my advice....stick to the grind until someone with signing power approaches you ...then contact a lawyer before you say anything to them....if they are legit...1 they will expect to talk to a lawyer...2 will be less likely to BS you when you make a move with a lawyer on your side....and 3 they are willing to wait to do it right ....after all most of the time people with siging power already have moeny you are just there to make them more.....i blog about allofthis by the way....incase your interested
