How was it that you guys shared your stereo Wav?

I've tried 2 sites now with my Wav for Hunter, but I just keep getting a message that there is a problem with the Wav (probably in size, they were free sites.)

BTW, you can hear the MP3 on my profile. But it lost a lot of the subtleties when it was converted.

You should use Monkey Audio compression.

Link : http://www.monkeysaudio.com/

It's free and uses completely lossless compression. It will compress a wave file down by about 2/3rds IE: a 45 meg file will produce a 15 meg ape file.

sendspace doesn't compress at all that I know of. You can share a file up to 300 mb. It's free.

Monkey Audio doesn't have anything to do with sharing files, it just compresses them kinda like winzip except it was created specifically for wave files. It just makes em a little easier to share especially for people on dial up or a slow DSL.

I didn't mean to infer it was a sharing service.

Speaking of analog, the sale of vinyl recordings actually increased last year while CD sales slid further.

I read a story of a store in Seattle that accidentally ordered vinyl instead of CDs. The manager put them out and was amazed that they all sold. Vinyl is still very much in demand by audiophiles.

Hell I've got quite a few LP's left from the good ol days. You know back when the heads would hang the turntable from the celing to prevent vibration skips. 8) I've even got the Skinard album with the flames n sh*t. Not to sure where it came from. Can you even buy phono needles?
