Some of you youngins sing a lot better then me when I was your age.(that was in the 60's)
I peaked in the early 80's .
Now, my wife tells me that my vocals suck! (That's OK, I'm still howlin' anyway!)

Practice.. practice.. and [wait for it..] .. practice
Been doing it for 3 years and a half now. I got a hold of my range (which is still expanding SLOWLY), my tone, and my style. All through practice, and experimenting.

I think you have a cool voice (if that's you in your profile). Funky and got soul in it.

Shure SM58 is a dynamic Mic not a condensor mic. I just bought a Audio thecnica 2020 . about 100 bucks. Low end of the price spectrum.
But is ok. You will need phanthom power for a condensor mic also.
Nice tune and good voice.

Thanks, blair. Yea, you're right. I've heard good things bout that Phantom Power thing.
I think a pop filter would help as well.

Yea, a pop filter is needed. If you cant afford 1 take a hanger and shape it round or close to. Then take a knee high womans stocking and wrap it around the hanger and connect the hanger to the mic stand in front of the mic. Gets rid of the SSSS sounds and popping.

Use a clean stocking preeferably new. LOL

LOVE your vocals! :) You've got such a warm, even tone and good control for a youngin' ;) So many young guys are going into R n' R or the heavier stuff, so I find it completely refreshing to hear you doing some mellow-er stuff, kwim? Actually, you remind me of Scott Stapp there quite a bit...awesome! :)

I bet you'd really like singing some blues/rock. You've got the voice for it IMO, and you seem like the kind of guy who has some soul my man ;)

Thank you very much. I like some of Creed's music. I can't say that he influenced me haha, but I guess it's the grunge influence that we share.

As promised, something new is up. For all of you 80s rock fans, I present: Wanted Dead or Alive :D
Check it out. If you have something to say bout it, don't hold back. We don't want you popping a few veins over my recordings. 8)
