I did the reverse,I was the one that dumped on my bandmates and both bands were formed by me.I compromised myself to hiring musicians that I said I would never have in my group and they showed me why I had those goals but now I'm playing professionally with a band that has the same goals and character preferences. It does sting guys but you'll rebound even better :D

I DID get dumped after being in the studio for a year recording my first band cd.The reason:I didn't join them for a joint pass around.Know what???They prefered the mj over musicianship. The band broke up shortly after.Going back to my previous thoughts thats why I dumped this time around.I don't have time for drugs,alcohol,arguing....You can't stay at another job for long with these actions so whats different about being in a band.ITS A JOB!Got off the track but now we're cooking..........

I agree with rajon. You'll rebound three times as good.

I live in Fresno California, no music scene just clicks. I played in a few bands here and most of them got jealous by the way my playing got lots of attention ( I'm not bragging). Plus most here have a high school mentality, drugs ( mostly meth) and big egos that hinder their development as musicians and people. Just use these so called set backs as lessons to better yourself and your music :)
