Well after hearing how buzzy fuzzy the guitar turned out, I plugged the mic into a fuzzbox and took a swing at the vocals myself

Hey Steve, I did it on a 4 track. I transfered the stripped down Beatles version from Anthology 2 onto one track then played along on piano and drums and bounced that to 1 track, then did the bass and vocals and bounced that to another track leaving 2 tracks open for the one guitar part that I split into 2 channels with a slight delay between left and right and a different fuzz on both sides (a Fuzzface, and a Boss Metal Zone)

Ya got to love it when the old guys rock! Good job dude! I just have to tell you I had a buddy in college told me he would run the dripping from a dead dogs eye over and over again in his head to help him ah er well lets just say "keep his powder dry." I just got a good laugh at his expense and some rockin at yours. Thanks man.

Out of curiousity, are you running the fuzz boxes straight into the tape machine. Its got a real direct sound to it. It doesnt have the compression you usually have on your tracks thru your amps.

Yep JW, fuzzes direct into the board. Actually most of my stuff is direct in through an original Sansamp.

I think the only stuff in my songlist that is through the amps is all of "Going Down" and the slide guitar part in "All Along The Watchtower"
