Bass player here. Just wanted to say hello. I just got my profile all set up yesterday and added a sound file since I read on here somewhere that was the way to get a response or two. I hope to find some people to jam with and maybe take it to the next level. 8)

Thanks Belle :D

I'm liking this forum a lot so far. I'm a little surprised to find so many members of my own generation who for whatever reason left music for a time and are now getting back into it like myself. Everyone seems pretty friendly so far and I'm looking forward to getting to know them better. 8)

koolin82@gmail.com,
Hey, man. :) Welcome.
- saw your profile.
Like you, I was away from music, for 10 years. I got kind of burned out, playing the same stuff over and over. And then when my wife moved in, I didn't want to bore her to tears, also . . .
I just got back into it a 2-1.2 years ago - it's GREAT playing again, huh?

Hi Sam, thanks.

Yeah it is great to be playing again. I just hope I can find a drummer and maybe a few others to jam with. Being a bass player listening to just myself gets pretty dull after a while. It's hard to get that rapport/groove with a drum loop LOL. 8)

Yeah, I know what you mean.
When I'm not playing w/ others, or practicing by myself, I use tapes of myself to practice against.
It can be pretty revealing, sometimes . . .
By the way, the name's Alan . . .

Hey, Jonny,
You may have to wait up to 1/2 a year for the copyright paperwork to be issued.
As long as you had a retuen confirmation when you sent your songs, you're covered, though. Without that - yep, you gotta wait.
Your songs got any toh chords in them?

Man, I REALLY like those Toh chords. :)
Hey, I finished that song, by the way. It's called "The 4th Emotion," - when it's copyrighted, I'll post it for you.
I've starting recording my 3rd batch of 10 songs - 5 recorded so far, and I'm putting some finishing touches on the rest.
Check out my proflie - I keep changing the songs.
