Was there any doubt?

Jook - typically I write lyrics first. I know you understand about song formatting, we just need to approach this a little differently than the collabs you guys have been doing. Maybe Mark can play mando on this one, if you're doing bass.

Schmed, you need to learn how to use Audacity better!

So I can suggest that Jook start this off with RG's drums. Figure out a song format (this means to listen to RG's drums, and make note of change-ups/roll offs and write down the times on theses so everyone can be in synch), lay down a bass track, then Schmedd do the guitar (assuming he figures out Audacity!).
From that basis I can do lyrics and the main vocals. I'd suggest Mark do his mando part then (and/or any of those mallet instruments), and I can lay in lead guitar tracks, too. Jook can do BU vocal tracks at that point, too.

Or not, if you guys don't want to go that way ...

Guys, do you remember when I joined and couldn't even post my own music for about a year and a half. Well now I can post my own music and edit it some? The rest, it's all a blur, like jumping into 65 mph traffic on a scooter that tops out at 35. I need to learn more? Great. Tell my family to give me some time to work on that.

#1. upload the pass-around track (.WAV) in Audacity as track #1
#2. record your track in Audacity as track #2
#3. if you want to keep the compilation, do a 'save as' and rename the file
#4. go to the renamed file and delete the uploaded .WAV (track #1)

Voila!!

I'm out!

I'm willing to lay down the bass line over his guitar track. You can take those three tracks and do the vocals over that??

:?: :?: :?:

Yup.

Maybe I'm missing it - where is RG's drum track besides his BM profile? I can only listen (and record the track) from it, no download option that I see.

Schmed, the time it takes to learn to do this would take you less time than a morning crap. So hold it in and reallocate the time!

Let's not push Schmeddy.
His plate is full.
Rich has the download 'on' in his song list here.

It doesn't download for me, just opens up a window that plays the track
