I don't have time to monitor this board 24/7 dude, so thought maybe I had missed your version, .. a few days ago, i think planetguy had you, & jook, signed on for it.. nowhere do you see me saying anything about signing on.. planetguy is trying to get me to sign on, but I am with
Guitar Mike B and going to sit this one out..
are you trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill with the asking 21 questions comment?

Thanks guys. I'm sorry. I saw where's Schmed's entry and thought you might think I'm getting paid for this or something. I typed a response and the phone wiped it out.
What I meant about listening to my own music us that I work on editing it in the early morning. I didn't catch that you posted links until my lunch break. Now they're gone and you're editing posts that are water under the bridge. I don't know where the communication breaks down, Dayne. But you sure like to agitate people and then you blow up and get agitated yourself. I don't play those games. Should I continue talking to you or not?

Hope you guys will just kiss and make up!

I haven't been able to listen to much of other folk's music recently because I've been super busy working on my next album release - I'm being super critical on the mixes this time. Listened to all the songs with headphones the other night, found one more 'noise' in a song, last night I isolated it to a lip-smack or mic touch on one of the vocal tracks - unfortunately a critical one that couldn't just be muted, but the miracle of computer DAW recording, I was able to copy from another chorus in the song and replace the bad section seamlessly.

I've been working on the CD cover art, too, but can't complete the back cover or inside art until the song order is complete, so that's another thing I've been listening to - which songs work best in what order. The production end of music release is time consuming!
I hadn't written any new songs for 2 months - until this week. The 'prompt' from the last songwriter circle meeting (which I missed) was to take an existing song's "hook" and make your own song out of it - challenging!
I used 'I went down to the crossroad', and came up with a very different type of song on the baritone uke.

Therefore it is fair game to interpretation.

Mr. Spock

Welllll... My charts--and most of those I get from other folks--do indicate time & key sig and tempo (i.e., 90); not sure what you mean by "inflection," but I've never seen it on anything...unless you're referring to those Italian labels you see on some scores (adagio, pianoforte, etc.). But charts do leave plenty of room for interpretation--as opposed to, say, scores. Heck, I sometimes put my own spin on a score. Sr. Elena used to smack me if I didn't play it exactly as it's written...but she be gone now and I can do what I want. I think. It's a human thing, Spock.

Finally decided to dink around with this.

So I took a Jook's crazy approach to a krazy bass vibe.
a Smiddy style lead guitar
Chopper on a Planets guitar sound
and the one and only solid rock beat

not sure if the chords are right
and
I left out the vocal track
well
here it is
