As usual Yod has summed it up very well for even some who may not totally agree with his solid logic. Delusion swirl about us all everywhere ... in the air, our food, the water, the earth, thoughts and info both true and false Right or Evil all swirl around us and through us. This alone has to account for a great deal of the growing chaos and death. We no longer live in a healthy place ... we are like tiny cells being mutilated and beset by cancer ... surviving on polluted sustenance for as long as we can, trapped in a dying body. There is my "Dark Goth Thought of the Day or Night".

You honestly believe that...

HOPELESS!!!!

RuiMusik wrote:Words matter. You can't dismiss hurtful (and hateful) rhetoric simply because he's "not politically correct" and "says what's on his mind" and "doesn't really mean all that stuff". These are all weak excuses I have heard Trump supporters say. And if you say them, you are weak too.

I agree with you on that. But you know why it isn't hurting him? Because he has a record that contradicts the narrative being put out by the DNC. He has hired and paid women above and beyond what Hillary can show. He has hired and paid people of all races without any measurable discrimination....same with homosexuals.

So, unfortunately we are only given the choice between these two, so which would you prefer:

a) The loud mouth who is actually a decent person

OR

b) the person who says the right things in the right way, but whose record proves it's all a bunch of lies and manipulation?

The fact that Donald says whats on his mind is rather refreshing in American politics because he's just like most people who will be voting. They talk about things that frustrate all of us in a way that makes them sound harsh....but they are actually decent Americans who are willing to do something about changing the situation. Most of the country (minus a few partisans) know that Hillary doesn't give a hoot about average Americans.

So for all the things I don't like about Trump, there is still only one option if I don't want Hillary.

RuiMusik wrote:And that's the bottom line Ted. You don't want Hillary and are willing to put up with a divisive loud-mouth instead. That is your right.

However, it is not your right to dismiss the 25 years of service Hillary has given to this country. I'm not going to waste your time or mine listing her accomplishments, her record is long and distinguished. But suffice it say that at this point it's a personal choice, one that we will all have to live with either way. God help the U.S.A.

I appreciate the civil tone in your reply. However, it is exactly her 25 years of "service" that form my opinion.

Voting to reward the disastrous effects of her "work" is folly. I'm rolling the dice with the other candidate, and apparently there are a lot of people who feel the same way.

Trump has been turning away more people at his rallies than Hillary has showing up at her rallies (since July).

To put this in perspective, Trump had 8,000 more people turned away on Monday and Tuesday of this week alone (23,000) than Hillary has had at all her events combined (15,000) since August 1st.

So the loser is: USA Today

Only the partisans will buy it from now on. In fact, they have already lost a huge amount of subscribers, as have Dallas Morning News & The Cincinnati Inquirer since endorsing Hillary.

Hillary will probably win and lead us to a war that would thoroughly eclipse any progressive agenda she may babble about to attract all the baristas who live in their parents basement, votes.

If by some wild chance Trump won and attempted to mess with Ashton Carter's plans to create a new catastrophe to manage, they will ice Trump in a minute,

Catastrophic Terrorism: Tackling the New Danger
By Ashton B. Carter, John Deutch, and Philip Zelikow ... November/December 1998 Issue

IMAGINING THE TRANSFORMING EVENT
A successful attack with weapons of mass destruction could certainly take thousands, or tens of thousands, of lives. If the device that exploded in 1993 under the World Trade Center had been nuclear, or had effectively dispersed a deadly pathogen, the resulting horror and chaos would have exceeded our ability to describe it. Such an act of catastrophic terrorism would be a watershed event in American history. It could involve loss of life and property unprecedented in peacetime and undermine America's fundamental sense of security, as did the Soviet atomic bomb test in 1949. Like Pearl Harbor, this event would divide our past and future into a before and after. The United States might respond with draconian measures, scaling back civil liberties, allowing wider surveillance of citizens, detention of suspects, and use of deadly force. More violence could follow, either further terrorist attacks or U.S. counterattacks. Belatedly, Americans would judge their leaders negligent for not addressing terrorism more urgently.

Interesting that co-author of the above, Philip Zelikow, was picked to head the 911 Commission after Kissinger chose to recuse himself rather than reveal his client list.

While at Harvard, he worked with Ernest May and Richard Neustadt on the use, and misuse, of history in policymaking. They observed, as Zelikow noted in his own words, that "contemporary" history is "defined functionally by those critical people and events that go into forming the public's presumptions about its immediate past. The idea of 'public presumption'," he explained, "is akin to William McNeill's notion of 'public myth' but without the negative implication sometimes invoked by the word 'myth.' Such presumptions are beliefs (1) thought to be true (although not necessarily known to be true with certainty), and (2) shared in common within the relevant political community."[

Silly comments of supporters that seek to destroy AMERICA.
