Musicians wanted for pro-level experimental/heavy composition group
Looking for guitarists, bassists and drummers to form a group to play experimental/heavy compositions (see links for rough demos) -

Stylistically the music sits somewhere between minimalism and metal, but also has roots in electronic music, sound-art, noise-rock, and has a strong emphasis on rhythmic layers, process and energy. It’s challenging music to play and as far as I’m aware hasn’t really been done like this before, but if you genuinely love music that pushes boundaries and expectations then this might be for you, and at the very least should be a lot of fun to play too.
Enthusiasm and ability to play the music is what counts, all ages and backgrounds welcome! Whatever your circumstances are we’re flexible, and I’m happy to accept varying levels of commitment to the group. Experience is desirable but not essential, and limited music-reading ability is fine too as we can work around this (can use graphs, tabs, work through parts together etc).
Aims are to gig in local area initially, assemble some better recordings and promote online, then look further afield depending on circumstances. If you’re interested send me a message and we can chat about it further, feel free to ask any questions, cheers! Tom
