here's a pic of my last "fast ride" ....a '71 XKE coupe w a V-12. it was a blast when it was behaving (which wasn't often) but we sold it last yr after getting tired of throwing money at it.

also around a yr ago i sold a very nice Mark II Rhodes that wasn't seeing much use. I scored it for $200 and sold it for a grand so that seemed like a smart move. i do miss having a piano around but not enough to do anything about it!

my next instrument score is slated for a (greek) bouzouki.

no pics of the Rhodes (like who cares, yawn) but here's the jag...

What year is that KG, Schmeddy??

65. Cal Look. All trim and moulding removed. Lowered substantially. Low rumbling dual exhaust. Had a front end collision shortly after this pic was taken (17 year old jackass that I was). It's been straight up Porsche red ever since.

carbs are either Webers (more desirable) or Strombergs (what my E type had)....the real big issues w those cars are usually electrical issues and the other biggie, though they're made w British steel.....that which never sleeps... rust.

i found a few bouzoukis that i really liked in the $500 to $800 range at Folk of The Wood when we were last in SF. next trip there...i'll likely be returning home w one.
