Hi there,
Im a 35 year old work man that records improvised songs on the voice recorder on my phone. I have been doing this for years and have hundreds of songs. Heres the problem though. I cant play an instrument and cant really sing. Also know one in world has ever been aware I do this.
Im here to basically gain an option from others and also to try and find someone to collaborate with and help me add some music to these ideas.
I have a couple of sample recordings on my profile for anyone to listern to but please bare in mind as I said im no singer and they are pure improvisations.

Oh well thats that. I'm open to any kind of comment. As I said this is the first time I have let anyone listern.

P.s I dig holes for a living.

I like it. Very haunting at moments. Try singing to stuff on my player and we could collaborate on something.

*I'm an excavator too. Backhoe operator with plenty of shovel work as well (I have two bad knees to prove it too!

Thats real exciting for you to say so. Your the first person to ever listern to those recordings so I really had no idea whether im completely crazy or they could become proper songs.

You need to work on singing in rhythm and staying on key, both of which take some practice, but you've probably already done it while singing along to your favorite songs on the radio. I would advise you to get a metronome (they probably have some free ones online) and a cheap casio keyboard. See if you can sing along with the tones on the keyboard, what you sing doesn't matter, just see if you can match the notes. These steps would help you get closer to being able to work with other musicians.
