Both sounded good! I assume the Roxy video was done with MVGen?

The guitar tone could have used a little high EQ boost on OOTT.

As to Jook's comments on the bass - if you miked the bass amp for this, consider (next time) splitting the signal with a DI box (I use my Radial PZ Pre when I want to do it with guitar) and send one side to the bass amp, and the other direct into your recording interface (or board). This gives you two distinct signals to play with.

jook, could you explain what type of pickups you are using when you say a neck pickup, since you are using an acoustic guitar I assume you are using a transducer and then maybe an additional pickup that sets into the soundhole like a Lawrence? or have you modified an acoustic actually pulled single coils out of a parts electric guitar and rigged them up to your flat-top acoustic?

I'm currently running a stereo setup on my acoustic guitar to get more umph. I experimented w/ this on the last upload to SC. There is only one guitar in that song. I have a neck PU running dry into the board (right channel). The bridge PU is running through a analog chorus pedal produce a warbling Leslie effect. I have it mixed in the left channel @ a lower volume. One thing I found very interesting about this one. You often here a 'chorusing' in the right channel even though it is dry. I think the harmonics of the dry signal are 'mimicking' the left channel and they seem to blend in a strange way. Very interesting acoustic affect. 8)
so does your layout look like this?

Jook - I'm guessing what you are hearing is a phasing effect when the chorused sound partially combines/cancels with the other dry sound.

hard to hear, but probably - the chorused guitar - on the left, or maybe partially panned? It's missing a lot of high end on it, I think.
