Yeah but your bass player is a dumbass cause he plays everything in unison!!

Good thing I got a volume pedal in front of him in case he acts up. Sometimes you gotta whip the mule.

Looping is a tee-total bitch. You have to punch in and out @ EXACTLY the right time to get everything to synch in time. I swear there is a bit of latency in the pedal I have (Boss). Takes a lot of practice to use one live and then it is limited unless you go 'whole hog' and buy the big station for $500.

No thanks.

Yeah, it takes a lot of practice or it sounds totally f*cked! It's a gimmick, though, and after a few songs of someone using it, you're like 'can you do anything else, dude?' I saw Howie Day a couple of years ago, he uses two of the big loopers, one for guitar, one for vocals. His best songs were the ones that didn't use the loopers constantly - he had a good 3 piece band with him.

After the drummer/guitarist in Mansfield, I saw a killer hard-core band in Columbus OH and jammed with a cool little soul/blues band in St Louis.

All in all it was a good week. Now it's back to TEXAS where there are several great blues jams every night to choose from.

Ah...the promised land.
