Only a few acts have delivered live concerts in virtual reality. Coldplay recorded a show in virtual reality in 2014, and the start-up JauntVR has released several concert clips, including Paul McCartney singing “Live and Let Die.” Absolut Labs streamed a concert by the Canadian electronic act Bob Moses in virtual reality last year.

Although limited, the performances were enough to whet the appetite of the music industry, and music labels and concert promoters are lining up to partner with technology companies.

I have mentioned that my son and I started a VR production company almost 2 years ago now. We started screening at various film festivals and he got noticed by the biggest companies in VR, and has become one of the top cameramen in the world already.

He was shooting Coldplay in Europe a couple weeks ago, touring Europe with Hans Zimmer for 3 weeks before that, shot Elton John in LA (which will never come out) and several music videos for lesser known acts.

A new world is coming in the late fall. You will be overwhelmed with the amount of amazing content coming. When it hits, it will be hard and fast.

Having my app built right now, planning a major promo campaign in the late fall when I no longer have to explain what VR is to anyone. Was just talking to my CTO about doing a LOT of live music programming, including a blues show from Dallas.

Can hardly wait for you guys to see it....
