Microsoft partners with KIND Financial to track legal cannabis

First social media, now marijuana -- Microsoft Corp. is so hip these days.
Three days after investing in LinkedIn Corp. LNKD, +0.02% in a record-setting $26 billion deal, the company announced its first venture into the world of marijuana, striking a partnership with KIND Financial to provide seed-to-sale software to state and local governments for the management of cannabis commerce and distribution.

Personally I expect that when Microsoft gets into the Cannabis business there may be a few predictable problems........
You are very excited that Microsoft entered into the weed business. The MacWeed was far too expensive and you could only afford it for special occasions. Not only that, MacWeed didn't come with a manual and you also needed to purchase specially formulated papers that would only work with MacWeed.
You excitedly rush to the MicroWeed dealer to purchase your first MiocroJuna
Unfortunately, when you roll your first doobie it keeps falling apart. You look up the problem in the MicroJuana Helps manual. You discover that your MicroJuana 1.03 papers require 2.4 upgrade glue for rolling doobies.
You hurriedly rush back to the MicroWeed dealer to purchase your 2.4 upgrade glue.
After purchasing your 2.4 glue your doobie stays together perfectly but it won't remain lit. Your manual tells you that the 1.03 paper you are using with your MicroJuana is outdated and all support for it has been discontinued.
So you rush back to the MicroWeed dealer to purchase a book of the upgraded 1.07 papers.
Finally you are ready to roll and smoke your MicroWeed dooble. You prepare to let your buddy have a toke but it is stuck to your lip and you can't get it off without destroying it. The manual informs you that Glue 2.4 leeches through the new 1.07 papers and may bond itself to your lip. However there is a fix. MicroWeed sells a specially formulated lip lube that you can dip the doobie in immediately after rolling.
You rush back to the MicroWeed dealer to purchase a small tube of lip lube.
You dip the doobie into the lube and all is well.
