My little guy is actually quite different looking and very pretty. The first thing I hear from people is "pigs are supposed to be ugly"... But he is beautiful.
He has spots like a palomino pony, beautiful hair, a long straight tail, and ears that stand up straight and tall like a german shepherd. When he is alarmed or very happy, his razor back stands up another 4 inches. People see his sweet, green eyes and instantly want to take him home. The worst part of this... He knows he's pretty and very conceited!

Glen ... in my zeal I overlooked your affinity and attachment to your little pig. Please accept my apologies as i meant no insult. I have always like pigs and have had a lot of experience with them in Nebraska and even in Sonoma somewhat. It has all been good. We were taught however at a young age to avoid situations with big Boars and also with mother pigs and their piglets ... all understandable. they are very intelligent and you are correct much more so than dogs. They are also very clean when put in situations where they can be.

Just an aside... Pigs have tremendous strength. I would be careful with a 200+ pot belly pig, a 600 lb feed hog very careful... A 1200 lb wild boar... Be certain you have a big gun.
