Posted "Flying Again" on my player. This is another one of my dad's poems. I like the vibe of this one, like a cloudy day at the beach.

Great tune, and yeah, a cool vibe.

You do acoustic well and I loved when the electric came in for the solo. And its a real clean recording. You producing this?

Let me say for fathers everywhere that I'm sure he is proud of such a tribute. Rock on!

My dad was an awesome poet

I'm sincerely impressed with how you honor your father, Jimmy.

Again, I'm sure he would be very proud to hear this. Wish I had that with my dad. He wasn't into music at all...could drive all the way to Mexico and back without turning on the radio. Did his best to discourage me from being a musician because all of his brothers were professional musicians who died alcoholics with sclerosis of the liver.

Are those other poems you mention on this album you're doing? Forgive me if I've already forgotten but are you producing this?

Spot on Jook! What a great song from a great album. That first WA album blew me away, I bought it 45 years ago and I still listen to it occasionally. You are what you love!

Speaking of that, I'm in Israel since last Saturday and will be here for a month. There is a shuk (outdoor marketplace) in Yafo where you can find the old hand-crank turntables with the big horn thing for the audio, if you remember those? They're only about $50 but way too much to carry in a suit case home.

But there is also a little stand where they sell vinyl. I've visited several times and they have a great selection of classic rock and American music. Seems like it was relatively cheap when I was there last year.

Is there any particular LP or band that you are looking for? If it's not too much, I'd get you a present. My guess is you have anything they have, but ya never know....

And of course I'd expect you to vote for Ted Cruz in exchange
