glad you liked it, and it did not cost .99 cents either! :D .,. some dudes in Branson are now wanting to form a smooth jazz band with me, trouble is, nobody owns a PA system LOL :) ..not sure they are fond of my idea of busking in New Orleans though.. I want one of those little self-powered PA systems that sit on top of a pole LOL :D

Have you seen/heard this little Kustom battery-powered PA, Dayne?

I haven't heard it, but the people using the similar AC-powered one (which is only $80-$100) say its pretty good for the price.

rhythmic CONSTRAINTS YOU SAY? WELL THEN, IF YOU NEED rhythmic constraints, then try this on for size, all I need is lyrics I already know what the vocal notes will be just no good lyric yet.. it sounds like a hit, are you charmed by it?

it sounds economically grim there then?.. I have been scouring www.landwatch.com for RV lots but they are just about non-existant or over-priced in relation to Missouri oland.. why the heck is acreage so high 50 miles out of NewOrleans? I at least have to be within driving distance of the French Quarter to make out with those 100 dollar hats, and hattin' them..LOL :D

I'm trying to wrap my head around how a place with the motto "let the good times roll" could be up to their eyeballs in strife.

it had better not disappear until I get to perform with 1 other musician in the French Quarter.. that said, watching a little television last night , The Prohibition on PBS and they had a little piece about New Orleans,, it being the WETTEST city in the U.S. during that period (1920-1934?) some scofflaw arrived in New Orleans and hailed a cab and in 23 seconds was offered liquor by the cab driver had a flask under the front seat of the cab.. running liquor up the river from the Gulf I suppose.. :D d

ok, might head more towards Abita Springs, still a little ways out from New Orleans but I could take that toll causeway into town, straight across Lake Pontchartrain, Poco wrote a song about Lake Pontchartrain..beautiful tune.. :)

The city has been fighting the river since the early 1700s.
It is a part of life just like the San Andreas fault in California.
It will eventually disappear one day.
Is this the 'strife' you are referring to, Schmedy?

Just being sarcastic. We loved visiting NOLA. We took in the aquarium, the bayou and plantation tours, the wax museum and voodoo museum and lots of great food, music and other culture. Then we left and didn't miss the workers washing the vomit off the sidewalks, the constant battle to pump water out of a sub-sea level city surrounded by water on 3 sides or the binge drinking of our fellow tourists.
