Wow....just realized that I know one of the victims.

I go out to play at a congregation in Crestline and their other congregation in Redlands every year since about 2009, with Pastor Bruce & Kathleen Dowell. One of their elders was Nicholas Thalasinos, and apparently he had been "debating" with the Islamic vermin. Looks like their discussion might be what set these animals off. Please take a minute to pray for Nick's family and for the Redlands congregation.

A reason to be concerned has developed only recently. The situation in the ME is primarily Sunni v. Shiite - at least in the Syria / Iraq area.

Obama, like Bush before him, has been the Saudis bitch boy (Sunni - the freaks who knocked down our towers ) . The Saudis are most afraid of Iran (Shiite - the guys who DID NOT knock down our towers.)

Now Obama is making deals with Iran. Personally I don't give a sh*t. I have no desire to use the USA as mercs for Israel - they have plenty of weapons of their own. If they junked socialism they might even have their own money.

But think about how destabilizing it is with Obama playing footsie with both the Saudis and the Iranians. What the hell is that about?

Meanwhile, back at the apocalypse both Egypt and Israel are playing nice with Russia since America seems to have abandoned them. Does anybody really have a grip on what is going on over there? I doubt it.

Jook, you're making some very good points here. I don't claim to know what's going on in the middle east, but I agree on one thing, we should have stayed out of it to begin with. It's such a complicated mess I don't know who to believe or support, but if our politicians had tried to simply mediate and not physically interfere, I think we would be a lot better off today.

The biggest problem is, it just came here...as they promised. They hate our entire way of life, and have sworn to exterminate us. We'll see more, count on it.

Like Christians & Jews, there appears to be three distinct tiers of the Muslim faith.
1. Secular Muslims - these claim to be Muslim but do not actively practice their faith
2. Moderate Muslims - these claim to be Muslim but are more progressive in their beliefs
3. Fundamentalist Muslims - these interpret their beliefs literally, word for word

Now I know I'm going to catch some flack from fundamentalist Christians on this one but there is a slight difference between fundamentalist Christians and fundamentalists Muslims. Fundamentalist Christians claim that they follow the New Testament literally, word for word, but they do not. Muslim fundamentalist do follow their teachings literally (word for word). I haven't seen any Christian fundamentalists w/ eye patches. St. Mark, 9:47

Acts of aggression which typify the like @ San Bernadino actually belong to the third tier. Under Muslim law, a non-believer is first given a chance to convert. If conversion is not acceptable to the non-believer, then a very heavy tax is required from the non-believer. If the non-believer refuses to pay the tax, then Jihad is claimed against the non-believer. Osama Bin-Laden followed this law when he sent a video to the US years ago. We failed to comply with the first two demands so he claimed Jihad against this country.

To wrap this up- you can't lump ALL Muslims together into one big heap. Nor can you lump all Christians or Jews together. But secular & moderate Muslim leaders MUST show some type of support against the Jihadist or they show no credibility to the world. If the secular & moderate leaders claim to be peaceful and truly condemn the acts of the Jihadist then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Stop harboring these people. We offer freedom and prosperity to the oppressed. Quit supporting the oppressors. It's that simple.

You missed this or forgot about it or just don't get it.
